Typically after Sunday Mass, Grandfather Adhemar would have the family over for lunch where you may visit one of their Sunday afternoons in the photo of the family from the North East corner.
Illuminata has a rich history and reflects a family dream come true. The Renuart Family, Adhemar and his wife Marie-Joseph Dumesnil, were the founders of their estate in 1928 when they built the now “Illuminata”. Adhemar, a coronet player at age 13, is one of three sons of Victor Renuart who together immigrated to Canada from Belgium to establish business in St. Pierre, near Winnepag, Manitoba, Canada. The family Lumber Business “Renuart Lumber” eventually moved to south Florida and prospered for over 50 years with fifteen locations.
