Illuminata has a rich history and reflects a family dream come true.   The Renuart Family, Adhemar and his wife Marie-Joseph Dumesnil, were the founders of their estate in 1928 when they built the now “Illuminata”. 

 The family Lumber Business “Renuart Lumber” eventually moved to south Florida and prospered for over 50 years with fifteen locations. 
Illuminata having been built by founders of the “Renuart Lumber” company explains much of the reason why this historic home is robust, strong, and possesses such detailed craftsmanship.
